Doctor Appointment Management System for a Vadodara Clinic — Built by Freelancing Marval
Dr. Tanupa runs a clinic in Vadodara and came to Freelancing Marval needing a proper appointment management system — something patients could actually use without calling the clinic every time. As a marketplace of verified developers, we matched her with a PHP developer from our network who could handle both the frontend and backend, and build appointment scheduling that worked over WhatsApp instead of a separate app patients would never download. The Challenge
Dr. Tanupa’s clinic didn’t have a working appointment system. Patients had no clean way to book a slot, and there was no structure behind confirming appointments or connecting them to a consultation. She needed something built from the ground up, tailored to how her clinic actually operates day to day.
What We Did
Our developer built a custom appointment management system with a PHP frontend and backend, designed around Dr. Tanupa’s clinic workflow rather than a generic booking template. The system connects to WhatsApp so patients get their appointment confirmations and consultation links where they already check messages, and it ties into Google Calendar so each booking generates a Google Meet link automatically. Even payments for consultations are handled through WhatsApp, keeping the entire patient journey — booking, payment, and consultation — inside one channel.
Tools & Tech Stack
The build used PHP for both frontend and backend, the WhatsApp API for messaging and payment collection, and the Google Calendar API to generate Google Meet links for each scheduled appointment. Together, these three pieces let the clinic run remote consultations without patients ever needing to install a separate app.
The Result
The system was delivered to match exactly what Dr. Tanupa’s clinic needed — a working appointment flow from booking through to a WhatsApp-based Google Meet consultation, with payment built into the same process. Specific performance numbers aren’t available for this project, but the system has been running as the clinic’s day-to-day booking tool.
